In the Nordic country of Estonia, a sauna is not just a sauna, it’s a fundamental part of our daily lives and our place for rejuvenation and relaxation! Equipped with my knowledge as a thermal engineer, I set out to redesign the traditional Nordic sauna heater and solve the problem of severe climate variation. I wanted to create an innovative solution that combines the best features of an authentic sauna with modern technology, enabling a more breathable and relaxing sauna experience without painful, scorching steam. Today I’m proud of the proprietary engineering that Saunum has developed, representing a revolutionary direction in sauna technology that is transforming the lives of sauna bathers around the world. I want everybody to experience the wellness benefits of sauna and feel the pleasure that a perfect sauna can offer.”

Andrus Vare
Creator of Saunum

In a good sauna humidity is just as important as temperature. Saunum AutoLeil is an additional device for the heater that automatically throws water on it and helps you control the humidity in the sauna room. Saunum AutoLeil is designed for Saunum heaters and is controlled through the Saunum Leil control unit. With the Saunum Leil control panel, you can pre-set 3 different types of steam and enable the use of AutoLeil.

AutoLeil can also be set to ensure that the sauna user enters a comfortably moist sauna room at the designated time. When the sauna room is heated to the desired temperature, AutoLeil ensures water dispension to the heater according to desired settings.

The AutoLeil kit also includes a button with LED lighting for throwing water in the sauna room. It is also possible to turn automatic water throwing on or off with this button while in the sauna. The length of one water dispensing cycle is set to 30 minutes by default. It can be changed up to 12 hours, for example, for public saunas. Water can be taken from any household tap.

Features

Easy Install

Pre-set 3 different types of steam

Automatic humidity control mode: sets target room temperature (40–100 °C) and relative humidity (10–60% depending on temperature)

Manual control mode: sets target sauna room temperature (40–100 °C), water quantity (valve opening time 0.3–4 sec), and water throwing interval (1–10 min)

Package Includes

A control unit

An operating button

A spray nozzle

A humidity sensor

Communication cable from AutoLEIL to LEIL

Button cable

Humidity sensor cable

Water valve connection cable

Power cable

Water valve

Button drilling template

Set of screws

Specifications

Dimensions (W x D x H)

2.36" (5.9cm) x 10.11" (25.6cm) x 6.49" (16.4cm)

Product Weight

5 lbs (2.2kg)

Color / Finish

Black

Construction Material

Steel
