A. Supply Conductor Standards & Conduit Whip

• Conductor Material: Copper only (minimum 90°C THHN/THWN rating).
• Conduit Rough-In: Terminate wiring using flexible liquid-tight or metallic conduit into the knockout on the lower chassis side/bottom. Ensure sufficient whip slack to allow servicing and floor cleaning.
• Neutral Conductor: No neutral wire is connected to the heater. Operating voltage across heating elements is straight 240V (L1, L2, and equipment ground).

B. GFCI Breaker Policy

• Manufacturer Recommendation: Connect to a dedicated standard 2-pole thermal-magnetic breaker without GFCI. Standard Class A GFCI breakers (4–6 mA) are prone to nuisance tripping during startup due to minor atmospheric moisture absorption in the heating elements, which evaporates within 1 hour of heating.
