Shipping & Freight Delivery
Due to the size, weight, and solid timber craftsmanship of this sauna, it ships securely in an oversized protective wooden crate via specialized Less-Than-Truckload (LTL) freight.
Delivered curbside via 53-ft trailer. Because oversized cabin crates (>84”) exceed hydraulic liftgate dimensions, consignee is responsible for on-site offloading (helpers, forklift, or picking up at the carrier's local freight terminal).
The freight carrier contacts you 24–48 hours in advance to schedule a dedicated delivery appointment.

Inspect outer crate upon arrival. Endorse the BOL with 'DAMAGED - SUBJECT TO INSPECTION' if any carton or wood distress is visible.
All heavy LTL freight shipments undergo a mandatory address and route clearance review prior to dispatch. Our logistics team verifies 53-ft commercial semi-truck accessibility, municipal roadway clearances, and turning space. Deliveries requiring island ferry transport, unpaved terrain navigation, low wire clearance shuttles, or extreme mountain switchbacks are subject to carrier-assessed accessorial surcharges or carrier freight terminal will-call prior to factory release.
Note: Standard LTL shipping is curbside delivery to the driveway apron or street threshold. Freight drivers do not unpack crates or move components into backyards, garages, or indoor rooms; customers are responsible for moving contents from curbside to the build site.
Manufacturer Warranty & Guarantee
Epic Sauna is an authorized direct retail partner for Leisurecraft. Your purchase includes 100% genuine factory-certified merchandise with complete manufacturer warranty coverage and dedicated parts support.
Warrants clear Western Red Cedar and White Cedar saunas against manufacturer defects in materials and craftsmanship for 5 years (3 years for Eastern White Pine).
Returns & Cancellations
Eligible items in brand-new, uninstalled condition with complete original packaging, manuals, and pallet/crate strapping may be returned within 30 days of delivery.
Custom Made-to-Order Saunas: Due to bespoke architectural millwork, saunas entering or completed production cannot be returned. Accessories & heaters carry a 15%–20% manufacturer restocking fee.
Order Cancellations Prior to Dispatch: In-stock heaters and accessories may be cancelled at zero penalty prior to warehouse departure. For made-to-order saunas, cancellations within 48 hours of order placement receive a 100% refund; cancellations requested after timber machining has commenced are subject to a 10% material handling fee if production cannot be paused.
Return Freight & Discretionary Returns: For customer-initiated returns (buyer's remorse, incorrect sizing, or site condition changes), the customer is responsible for actual return freight shipping costs. If requested, our logistics team can coordinate return freight booking under our negotiated corporate volume carrier rates and deduct the cost from your net refund.
Zero-Fee Transit Damage Guarantee: Restocking fees never apply to items damaged during transit or verified manufacturer defects. If damage is noted upon delivery on the carrier's Bill of Lading (BOL), notify support@epicsauna.com with photos within 48 hours and we will dispatch replacement components or assemblies at 100% factory expense.
Non-Returnable Items: Saunas, heaters, or electronic controls that have been assembled, wired, installed, or fired cannot be returned due to safety and electrical certification standards.
